Dutch Oven Peach Dump Cake

You'll need
- 2 cans sliced peaches (or 5 cups fresh peaches)
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup butter, sliced into thin pats
- Cinnamon (optional)
Directions
Spread the peaches in a buttered Dutch oven.
Sprinkle with sugar.
Pour the dry cake mix evenly over the fruit. Don't stir.
Arrange the butter slices evenly across the top.
Cook with coals underneath and on top for 45–60 minutes until golden.
Serve warm.
Camp Tip
Fresh-picked berries, apples, cherries, or mixed fruit work just as well.
