Our Story

I've always loved the outdoors. From camping and fishing as a kid to spending time outside with my own family today, some of my best memories have been made around a campfire.

I've spent years owning restaurants and breweries, so cooking and good food have always been a big part of my life. But given the choice between a commercial kitchen and an old cast iron skillet over a fire, I'll take the fire every time.

For some reason, food just tastes better around the fire.

Maybe it's the smoke. Maybe it's the fresh air. Maybe it's because you've been outside all day and you're starving. I don't really know—and I'm not sure it matters.

What I do know is that great camp food doesn't need to be complicated.

That's why I created Dusty's.

Dusty's was made to be the one seasoning you throw in the camp box and take everywhere. Nothing more. No bag full of spices. No complicated recipes. Just good seasoning, simple ingredients, and a hot fire.

Use it on the fish you caught that afternoon. Sprinkle it on a steak, chicken, potatoes, vegetables, or whatever ends up in the cast iron.

Dusty's is about keeping things simple, cooking great food, and spending more time where we'd rather be—outside with good people and a fire burning nearby.
